The Ninth Annual Piedmont Park Arts Festival Returns This Month
The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces has announced the return of the Piedmont Park Arts Festival Aug. 18-19. With an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun, the ninth annual event will once again be held in Piedmont Park, one of the most respected and beautiful public parks in the City of Atlanta. This year’s two-day event will feature 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork artisans, glass blowers, jewelers and crafters. Festival-goers are also invited to enjoy artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, an expansive artist market, children’s play area, festival foods and beverages, games and much more. The BronzeLens Film Festival of Atlanta, Georgia, is a nonprofit organization founded in 2009 that is dedicated to bringing national and worldwide attention to Atlanta as a center for film and film production for people of color.
