Dr. Andrachuk joins Northside Hospital Sports Medicine in Midtown

Dr. Andrachuk is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine. He performed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan and a fellowship under the world-renowned sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham. His areas of interest are in the arthroscopic treatment of hip, knee and shoulder conditions.

Dr. Andrachuk stays at the cutting of edge of orthopedics utilizing the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to help minimize post-operative pain and recovery time. He has authored a number of research studies regarding the diagnosis, treatment, and outcome of sports injuries.

Quick-Build Projects to Add Protected Bike Lanes

Mayor Bottoms announced a $5M special initiative to deploy protected bike lanes or “LIT” lanes (light individual transport) on strategic corridors throughout the city. Included on the list in Midtown are Juniper Street,  Piedmont Ave, Spring and West Peachtree Streets. Juniper is fully designed, fully funded and awaiting final sign-off from the City to begin construction. Piedmont is approaching the final design. Spring and West Peachtree have been slated for the “quick-build” installation of protected LIT lanes.

Hampton Inn and Suites National Register of Historic Places Upgrades

The Downtown Hotel, whose building is on the National Register of Historic Places, recently revealed the upgrades made to the property.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Downtown renovation, which began earlier this year, was mainly cosmetic and aimed to provide “a much-needed refresh while still staying true to historic roots,” says management company McKibbon Hospitality.

All 119 guest rooms, dining areas, meeting spaces, and the lobby were extensively updated, officials said in a recent announcement. Beam Team, a GA-based construction company led the renovations.

Dr. Terrance Jeter Expands Practice To Midtown

Dr. Terrance L. Jeter & Associates, a family and cosmetic dental practice, is expanding to a second location in Midtown.

Dr. Jeter is a graduate of Morehouse College. He completed his post-graduate work at Emory University School of Dentistry.  He is involved in organizations including Health Careers Society at Morehouse College, The American Dental Association, and North Georgia Dental Society where he served as president for 2 terms. He also volunteers at the Ben Massell Dental Clinic to assist families with dental health. He has also granted scholarships to students entering college.
