Tacos and Tequila Mexican Grill Shares a Creamy Taco Sauce Recipe

With 17 varieties of tacos, Tacos and Tequila Mexican Grill knows how to dress up a taco. Everything from ground beef street tacos to tacos al pastor can be cooled with a drizzle of sour cream. The popular spot on Ponce de Leon Avenue knows it takes a drizzle, not a dollop, to make the perfect bite throughout.

Sour Cream Taco Sauce

1/3 cup sour cream

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon taco seasoning (you can either use a store-bought packet or this great recipe from our friends over at HotSauceDaily.com for homemade taco seasoning)

Juice of 1 lime

In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Drizzle over tacos as desired.

Wash it Down

Enjoy your tacos with one of Tacos and Tequilas’ many margaritas or cocktails. Bring on the heat with a jalapeño margarita—Tanteo jalapeño-infused tequila with lime juice, grapefruit juice, freshly cut jalapeño and a splash of soda—or cool off with a summery coconut mojito—spirited mint with unrefined pure sugar cane and pristine lemon juice, carefully muddled and topped with refreshingly crisp club soda.

With an extensive list of tequilas (more than 100!), how could you choose just one? Sip three of their best selections by ordering a flight—three 1/2-ounce shots that make for one easy decision.
