Bocado restaurant is an Atlanta favorite that serves contemporary, eclectic American cuisine on a rotating seasonal menu, paired with playful cocktails, craft beer and wine.
Spanish for “bite” or “mouthful,” Bocado is from restaurateur Brian Lewis and opened in Atlanta’s West Midtown in 2009. The seasonal and locally sourced menu changes frequently, with dinner featuring small, experimental plates and larger entrees, and lunch including creative sandwiches and sides. Bocado’s acclaimed double-stack burger is a favorite and served with American cheese, housemade bread and butter pickles, and fries. Housed in a former woodworking shop, the restaurant’s minimalist aesthetic highlights the simplicity and freshness of the food. In 2010, Bocado was named to Atlanta Magazine’s list of “Best New Restaurants,” and in 2012, Brian was named by StarChefs as a “Rising Star Restaurateur.”
